History From its humble beginning in 1940, when founder Harry Sugar borrowed three hundred
dollars and began producing storm windows, through nearly six decades of transition and growth, Sugarcreek Industries
has maintained its original committment to product excellence and innovation.
Contributing to the company's longevity are the foundational values of its Swiss-Amish community, deeply rooted in a rich tradition of craftsmanship, service and a strong work ethic.

- Double hollow construction provides greater strength and security than standard storm doors.
- The wide, sculptured frame (1-1/4" X 4") adds durability.
- The spring-loaded, flush mounted, internal sash lock system secures the glass.
- Outside corners are secured to steel braces, which enhance the structural integrity of the door.
- Corner keys provide added support to the inside of the door frame.
- The .060" aluminum wall thickness is up to 20% thicker than the industry standard.
- The styrofoam insulated frame core offers superb energy efficiency.
- The triple seal bottom sweep eliminates drafts.
- Installation screw cover enhances the appearance of your door.
